BRAIN BASED LEARNING STRATEGIES
Brain based learning strategies are used to a quick activation of students brain. It is like a brain storming where students have to apply their brain to come up with the solution in a very creative and innovative way.
1) WORD SEARCH
A printout of puzzle on "Parts of plant" was given to the students in a group of 4. The strategy was designed as a part of the revision for the above topic. Students need to search the word and circle it with the help of pencil. Students enjoyed this activity as there was a sort of competition among various groups on who will search more words.

2) BOGGLE
On the black board teacher wrote some random letters and students were asked to make as many words as possible on their notebook. Then individually all students were given equal chance to come up on the board and write one word each of the various words they have made. Words has to be made of minimum 3 letters.
3) CROSS WORD
Class:- VIIth
Topic: Mineral nutrition
A hard copy of cross word was given to the students
and the students were asked to solve it in group. A group of four students were
made.
